In loving memory of Willadene Springer, who passed away from breast cancer in 1976, our mission is to provide warmth, comfort, and hope through the gift of handmade quilts to individuals diagnosed with cancer. Each quilt we create is a symbol of compassion, strength, and solidarity. With every stitch, we honor Willadene’s legacy and extend heartfelt support to those facing their own journeys, reminding them they are not alone.

Kathy has been donating quilts primarily to Cedar's Sinai in Los Angeles. Whenever there is a request, or a need, she sends out quilts directly to women she knows needs to feel the love of a quilt. Willadene’s Quilts was founded with the mission of spreading love and care to those affected by breast cancer. Our services extend beyond quilt donations to offering a platform for support and empowerment. We take pride in our team's commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of breast cancer patients.
Willadene’s Quilts is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to crafting and donating quilts to women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Kathy Patrick founded the non-profit because she lost her mother to breast cancer. Kathy's grandmother was always quilting and Kathy remembers the love she felt whenever she'd get a quilt from her grandmother. When her sister-in-law, Debbie Springer, mentioned she had a lot of fabric Kathy had an idea! Lets make quilts for women currently in the treatment process.

OUR QUILTS ARE MADE WITH LOVE
Willadene’s Quilts are currently distributed to women battling breast cancer across the United States. We are located in Los Angeles and have a special relationship with Cedars Sinai Hospital. This is where the majority of our quilts are distributed. We would love to expand our donations with the help of donations and quilters!
